Call and respond (2017)
Together with Gary Olson (USA), Corinna Iris Tröger / CoCo (Germany) and Agus Mardianto (Indonesia)

Isakson composed a piece of music and sent it to Gary Olson in the United States (call). Olson listened to it, recorded an answer and returned the sound (respond). The two sound files have been merged and then sent to Corinna Iris Tröger / CoCo in Germany and finally to Agus Mardianto in Indonesia who performed the same task. Each audio file has then been assigned an FM frequency and the sounds are played synchronously via these frequencies. A collaborative soundwork performed by an orchestra consisting of four radios.
